The first two steps to any stain removal are
the same:
- Remove any solids
- Start from the outside and work in toward the
center
- Blot the excess liquids
- Use paper towels or a clean towel, do not
press hard or scrub
Find the type of Stain below and follow the
instructions:

Water Soluble
ie. Cola, Gravy, Mud, Juice
Jelly, etc |
1/4 teaspoon of white vinegar mixed
with 32 ounces of water. |
Spray on mixture or blot on with clean
towel. Blot dry, repeat as necessary. |
Blood, Red wines, Coffee, Mustard,
Kool Aid, Tea, etc |
1 tablespoon of ammonia mixed with 1 cup of
water |
Spray on mixture or blot on with clean
towel. Blot dry, repeat as necessary. |
Pet accidents |
one part white vinegar to one part water
&
1/2 teaspoon of dish detergent mixed with 32 ounces of water

Spray on vinegar mixture or blot on with
clean towel and blot dry, then Spray on detergent mixture or
blot on with clean towel and blot dry. |
Scrubbing stains with a towel or brush or pressing hard will
push the stain further into the fibers of the carpet or down into the
carpet padding. Ensure when cleaning a stain that you only blot.
